Caiden Playing with His Elephant
This elephant toy sounds like a vacuum cleaner, but it blows air so it can bounce the balls out that are inside.
Love that sweet smile!

Welcome 2012
Caiden's Hope ended 2011 by helping a total of 16 families and contributed $5,100.75 to help those families reduce the stress that having a child in the NICU can bring. We look forward to helping even more families in 2012.
We are hoping that in 2012 we can find a national spokesperson to assist us in bringing our message to the entire United States, that we find an advertising agency that will help us spread the word to radio, television, newspaper and internet outlets and that by spreading the word we reach more hospitals in other parts of the country and assist those families as well.
Thank you to everyone that has donated to Caiden's Hope. We need you to continue to help spread the word, to engage your family, friends and employers. Together we can make a difference in the lives of these families that need our assistance.
Don't forget the Caiden's Hope Ebay site. eBay Giving Works is a fun, easy way to support Caiden's Hope. Simply list an item on eBay, select Caiden's Hope to benefit and choose the percentage you want to give. When your item sells, MissionFish will collect your donation and send it to Caiden's Hope, and provide you with a tax receipt.

Following Up
Soon Caiden's Hope will begin contacting families that we have had the priviledge of helping. We want to see how their child is progressing and learn first hand the difficulties a family can face when living at the NICU.
We will also begin asking the NICU nurses and Social Services Staff to provide our supporters with their viewpoint.
If you would like to be interviewed, please contact Caiden's Hope at 713-444-3412.
Thank you.

Pneumonia
Jennifer took Little Mr. Caiden in for his check-up to clear him for his O.R. airways stretching procedure Dec. 6th and instead found that he has pneumonia! He had a cold/flu about a week and a half ago, but seemed like he kicked it. He didn't even act sick anymore. So instead of getting cleared, he is on a 10 day regiment of antibiotics and then will go back to be checked again. Pray for a quick recovery for sweet Caiden.

Caiden's Hope is helping Three Families This Week - Thanks to You
Thanks to our wonderful sponsors, Caiden's Hope is helping families from Bakersfield, California, Edinburg, Texas and Pleasanton, Texas this week. Families are sleeping in hotels instead of on a bench in the hospital because of you. Without the support of our friends, families and corporate partners we would not be able to provide any of the assistance we are so lucky to be able to give. Those of us who have experienced having a child or grandchild in the NICU and have had them leave the hospital healthy are truly blessed by God. Share your blessings by helping other families with your tax deductible donation at www.caidenshope.org. Please post this to all your Facebook/Twitter friends so we can spread the word about Caiden's Hope. Thank you.
